Srinagar to Drass

Was wondering where is heaven and found it while biking between Srinagar to Leh … Having the best tour of my life along with my European buddies!!

Started riding from my house to the airport, approximately 40km on a rainy Friday morning around 3 AM and my flight was at 5AM to Mumbai and from Mumbai to Srinagar. The entire crowed at the airport started staring at me as its uncommon to see a someone get a bicycle into the airport. When I went to load the luggage the agent said I will be charged extra and I requested him to be a bit considerate as I was going on a cycling tour, he politely said ”please leave your bicycle here, next person in the queue please”, I didn’t understand and I asked him how much am I suppose to pay, he winked at me and repeated the same thing, said ”please leave your bicycle here, next person in the queue please” and I got down with my bike at Srinagar at 2PM

I found a cozy house boat for 200 a day and to went around the city whole day and i was well fed with my favourite meat!
